Walton and Harvey are a freelance accountacy firm that specialise in accounting and taxation services for individuals, sole traders and limited companies. As they are a fairly recently established company, they needed to come up with a brand identity to represent them promote their business.
When they approached me to come up with some designs, they only had a colour scheme and an idea of the tone that they wanted their identity to convey.
After looking at the branding for similar companies, we decided to create something more contemporary and engaging, whilst maintaining a professional tone. I was inspired by some designs from the 30’s and era around WWII, with their use of bold text, shapes and muted colours.
The final design that they chose was slightly minimalised from previous ideas, but remained in keeping with the original typeface and circular motif that they'd chosen.
Below are some tryout ideas that I started with:
“Jessica was fantastically helpful with the design of our company logo. She came up with several ideas for us to review and discuss, which were all very good.
She was also happy to tweak and amend the ones we finally picked, to give us a very stylish and contemporary design. I feel very proud of my logo every time I hand out a business card!!”
